Isabelle Arrell is a photographer based in both Manchester and Nottingham, currently studying in her final year at Manchester Metropolitain University. Her work is mainly location based, with focuses on portraiture, fashion and landscape/nature photography. Becuase of this, Isabelle is skilled in portable lighting and creating sets with her surroundings. In her personal practice, Isabelle often combines her passions for history, nature and fashion to create cinematic imagery, rooted with fantasy, myth and legend. Immersing herself in the history of place is key to her practice, making her work stand out from conventional fashion photography. As her practice has developed, she has also grown skills for creative direction, often planning, styling and location scouting as well as photographing her shoots.
